Community Activity Facilities
 
    The Administrative Center for Rongelap Atoll will be located in the town center area and will include a Library, Town Hall and Public Administration Building. Rongelap Island on approach from the air

The Library will include facilities for online computers for interactive learning and access to the World Wide Web.

The Council Area, includes the Mayor's Office, Council Chambers and Administrative areas as well as rooms for the councilmen, finance, engineering and general administration offices. 

 
The Republic of the Marshall Islands Immigration and Customs offices will also be housed in the Administrative Center building.
   
   The Church was completely renovated and was one of the first buildings completed. It is an important focus for the community and will be an important site for many community activities. 

 

 

The beautiful stained glass window in the church was created by Noel Bigler, a well known figure on the island for the last few years.  Noel and his wife were responsible for the handcrafted designs throughout the church.
 
    

The Runway and Airport have been completed. Air Marshall Islands provides a weekly flight schedule from Majuro, Kwajalein and the outer islands.
